It's happening, ARGonauts! Nintendo is playing coy, but we are pretty sure the N64 Classic is going to happen soon. The Koalition's Jakejames Lugo comes back on to discuss what will be on the mini console as well as what SHOULD should be on it.

Hearing that The Walking Dead developer Telltale Games would be going bankrupt was bad enough news for fans. Then the layoffs that put over 250 employees in dire straits with no severance pay made things worse. That's when David reaches out to former Telltale community manager  Nathan Ortega to figure out what happened.

Join David and Nathan in a candid discussion of the work culture within Telltale Games that laid the groundwork for its eventual downfall. They also discuss declining game sales since the breakout hit of The Walking Dead, how that success developed bad habits for the company, and the way that Tales from the Borderlands was actually self-satire for the work conditions employees were in. The phrase "Handsome Jack is Telltale" pretty much says it all.

Although this is the end of Telltale, the lives of those employees negatively impacted are still going. Show kindness. Show support. Show humanity. Remember that there are people behind the games we all enjoy.

Think you know music? Think again! David speaks with video game composer Rob Hubbard to speak on his career. Learn about how he mastered creating complex compositions within the limits of the Commodore 64, and how he brought his talents to America to work for Electronic Arts.

Rob Hubbard was responsible for beloved music from games such as Monty on the Run, Skate or Die, Road Rash, John Madden Football, and so many more! This episode of ARGcast Mini is even filled with samples of his music for you to enjoy. Few musicians in the gaming industry have as wide or impressive of a body of work that spans across console generations from the Commodore 64 to the Sega Genesis.

Our conversation covers his beginnings in the gaming industry, how he comes up with such complicated pieces, his decision to make the move to America to work for Electronic Arts instead of working on Amiga titles, and more. He even gives his insight on how video game music has evolved over the years.

The news this week takes us to a new retro gaming console that aims to play almost all of your physical titles, as well as GameStop buyout rumors running rampant. We then get into the character direction of everyone's favorite blue hedgehog in the Sonic the Hedgehog movie being made, and the return of the original Donkey Kong arcade game after all these years.

The Stage of History has us take a look at the original Power Stone which acts as a precursor to our main topic, and then we get into another Capcom fighting game gem - Project Justice. Robert keeps the Dreamcast train going in Obscura with the vertical shmup Mars Matrix. Don't forget to grab our game codes for Juicy Realm and Just Shapes & Beats, then we jump into another round of Random Select! Who could David be this week?

We are partnered with Don't Feed The Gamers! Be sure to check them out for fan-focused gaming content.
