Time to explore, ARGonauts! Jeremy Parish of Retronauts graces us with his presence to chat about (what else?) Metroidvania games! Hear how he helped the term enter the gaming lexicon and what his favorite games are in the genre.

The news this week has us cover the third batch of games that will be in the Sega Genesis Mini as well as a fanmade GameCube Classic we found. That's followed by the return of the Game Boy Color (as a watch), Resident Evil 2 Remake well on its way to outselling the original, and the John Wick NES game we wish were real.

This week's Stage of History celebrates all things great about Metroidvania with Metroid: Zero Mission and Cave Story. Robert then gets more modern with Shadow Complex during Obscura. Be sure to nab our themed game code giveaways, then stick around for another round of Random Select! Who could Robert be this time?

Feel the power of X, ARGonauts! Twitch streamer KateitaK joins the show to talk about the more obscure titles on the original Xbox. Very few things come between her and her love for Breakdown!

This week's news has our very fresh reactions to the leak/troll of a new Splinter Cell game. That's followed by our thoughts on the ProJared situation, Final Fantasy VII Remake reminding us it's still alive, and Tetris 99 gets offline DLC.

The Stage of History kicks off our Xbox love with Blinx: The Time Sweeper and Brute Force. Robert then lays waste with Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath for Obscura. Be sure to grab our game code giveaways, then stay for an intense round of Random Select! Who could David be this time?

We're back at it with more Sega Saturn! Special guest and friend of the show Tony Polanco joins us in celebration of the console's 24th anniversary.

Before you bring it up, yes, we did recently have a Sega Saturn episode with "The Immortal" John Hancock. Think of this as an abridged version of that show, but instead with our buddy Tony showing some love. We talk about the rocky start, even rougher end, and the games that helped define the console.

Join the jamboree, ARGonauts! We're talking Disney retro games with special guest The Mista J. And boy howdy are there a lot of them! We discuss the titles we grew up with, the ones we almost forgot about, and listener responses telling us your favorites.

The news this week first has us bring up insider information David received on upcoming SNK and Samurai Shodown related products any retro gaming fan will appreciate. That's followed by Paramount's decision to redesign Sonic in the upcoming movie. Then talk on a hacker making original Xbox software work on Nintendo Switch and a retro streaming service that sounds promising.

We go full-blown Disney in the Stage of History with Capcom's Darkwing Duck and the surprisingly difficult Mickey Mania. Robert then grinds it out with Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure during Obscura. Be sure to nab our game code giveaways, then stick around for a magical round of Random Select! Who could Robert be this time?
