We're shipping up to Boston, ARGonauts! Join us along with special guests and friends of the show Andre Tipton, Bill Gardner, and Amanda Gardner as we chat about everything that will be shown at PAX East 2018. Bill and Amanda also tease a surprise they're going to show at their booth.

The news gets us started with word that Bitmap Books is making a Sega Master System visual compendium, plus a whole string of rumors including a new Wario Land for Switch, Ikaruga making a comeback on modern platforms, and Capcom bringing back Puzzle Fighter in a way we might not be hoping for.

The Stage of History this week has us celebrate a couple of great platfomers with Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap. Robert then takes us back to the beginning of a franchise with the first Far Cry in Obscura. We also have a couple of game codes to give away for MidBoss and PC Gaming Simulator, and then another round of Random Select. Guess who David is before he skates away!

Where else do you go after creating music for over 300 video games? Take your show on the road, of course! Robert catches up with acclaimed video game composer and advocate Tommy Tallarico about his career, running Video Games Live, and what he's promoting now on Kickstarter.

After the interview, stick around for a bit as David and Robert share their favorite game soundtracks done by Tommy Tallarico. There are quite a few notable ones like Earthworm Jim and Aladdin, as well as some real surprising choices! Can you guess what was the only NES game he created music for? And who knew there was a Skeleton Warriors video game?

Also be sure to back and/or share Tommy's Kickstarter campaign if you wish to support live performances of video game music. Let's show everyone out there that game soundtracks are just as legitimate as any other mainstream music!

Gotta go fast, ARGonauts! We welcome our friend Lizzy Silvas on the show to share her story on how she became a diehard fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, and how the blue guy helped Lizzy get through her greatest challenges in life.

The news this week starts off appropriately enough with a tech demo revealed for a Sonic Maker fan game. There's also the official reveal of the Ataribox name switch to Atari VCS, and Nintendo showing off their Nindie lineup which includes a couple of exciting ninja related titles that will please retro fans.

The Stage of History brings back memories both bad (Sonic 3D Blast) and good (Sonic Adventure). Plus Robert brawls out with Sonic the Fighters in Obscura. Don't forget to grab your game giveaways for Tokyo 42 and Demolish & Build 2018, and then join us for another round of Random Select!

Has it really been 18 years since the launch of the PlayStation 2? We look back on cherished memories with the games we loved on Sony's beloved console. Does the PS2 stand the test of time? Let us know your thoughts!

The news are flowing this week starting with the debut of Atari's new console at GDC. We then cover some key retro releases including Sega Genesis Collection, Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja, Moon Patrol, and more! Then there's the release of a smartphone case that doubles as a portable retro gaming device, and a hacker on YouTube shows how he got a Sony Watchman to work with a Nintendo Switch.

The Stage of History this week swings for the fences with Nintendo's Tennis, then jumps back to the future with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. Robert brings the mood down with the PS2 deep cut Darkwatch in Obscura. We also have our usual game giveaways, as well as the big 100 episode giveaway for the SNES Classic!

Instead of Random Select this week, Robert springs on some interviews during the Far Cry 5 event he attended, so don't miss out on those either.

There's no way David and Robert alone could name the greatest retro game ever, so we invite with us returning guests Andre Tipton and Tony Polanco along with ARGcast superfan (and the most buff Mario you will ever meet) Nick Castro!

Join us as we go through several tournaments that break down the greatest games in their respective genres. The winners of each genre then randomly get tossed into championship brackets until only one survives. You don't know true pressure until you hear this! The agony even brings us to the point of tears eventually.

Don't forget to nab our game codes, especially since we're giving away twice as many as we usually do! Don't miss your chance to own Tiny Metal, Crossing Souls, Human: Fall Flat, and H1Z1. There's also the big SNES Classic giveaway, so be sure to check out both our Twitter and Facebook for details on that.

We want to thank everyone who has been there for us as guests and/or listeners. We are truly grateful to be part of your lives and listening pleasure, and will be looking forward to providing more retro gaming love in the next 100 episodes.

The women have taken over! Join us along with guests Mandy Paez, Amanda Farough, and Liana Ruppert for a very special episode where they share their personal stories working in the gaming industry. Some of these may shock you! We also discuss empowering female characters throughout video game history.

This is a jam-packed episode, and not in small part to the news this week! We cover the Chrono Trigger Steam release that "steamed" and "triggered" many fans, the announcement of old school style FPS Ion Maiden, the reveal of a long-lost Donkey Kong game, the new retro inspired title Fox n Forests hitting Kickstarter, and the discovery that Alex Kidd in Miracle World was almost a Dragon Ball game!

The Stage of History this week includes the female-led classics Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble, and Beyond Good & Evil. Robert then gets his groove on with Space Channel 5 in Obscura. Don't forget to grab our code giveaways for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, and My Lovely Daughter. Finally, we close out this lengthy episode with another round of Random Select. Can you guess who David is in time for lunch?
