David and Robert are back in full force with Kinsey Burke of the MetalJesusRocks YouTube channel! Keep on listening also for Robert's interviews during Ubisoft's pre-Gamescom event.

Seattle's own "Queen of Retro Gaming" Kinsey Burke joins us in the show to chat about the retro scene in her native home, plus her YouTube success with MetalJesusRocks and now her own channel. Not only that, Robert shares some interviews he had with Ubisoft talent working on For Honor, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and Watch Dogs 2.

But wait, there's more! Other topics we get into include the importance and direction we see in the newly branded THQ Nordic. Which franchises do we hope to see the studio work on? Let us know your thoughts! There's also an awesome fanmade remake of GoldenEye 007's multiplayer. How does it live up to some of our favorite N64 memories?

There's also this week's Stage of History which includes the 30 year old No Man's Sky demake Starflight, NES classic The Legend of Zelda, and the game that made vampires cool before they weren't anymore Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. There's also a couple of game giveaways, so hop on it to win those!

In this shortened episode of ARGcast, we share some QuakeCon interviews, chat about the rise and fall of a fanmade Metroid II remake, and question the possibility of a robopocalypse with a well made Virtua Fighter robot!

At QuakeCon, Robert had the pleasure to speak with Dave Oshry of New Blood Interactive, Steam Knight developer Paula Rae AKA Paula Tacos, and Shadow Warrior 2 PR Tadek Zielinksi. You'll want to join us on the ground floor to hear this!

We next get into AM2R - otherwise known as Another Metroid 2 Remake - which was a fan remake of the Game Boy classic 10 years in the making. Find out about its short lifespan in the public eye before Nintendo's lawyers put an end to it. Should the Big N work with these dedicated and talented fans to bring a 2D Metroid title back, or is Federation Force fine for now? How is this connected to that Nintendo Power archive that was briefly up? Listen up to find out!

The closes with us marveling at a robot made to look and act just like Akira of Virtua Fighter fame, polygons and all! Which other characters would you like to see get the same treatment? Be sure to let us know!

The Stage of History this week welcomes in the obscure arcade quiz game Professor Pac-Man, Sega's "welcoming to your gwave" Altered Beast, Yoshi's debut in Super Mario World, and more! We also have game code giveways GALORE, so be sure to grab them while you can.

You would think an episode with GameXplain's Ash Paulsen is enough, but we also have interviews with Melissa Hutchison (Clementine from The Walking Dead) and Kane Hodder (Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th) to make this a jam-packed show!

After kicking off the show in remembrance of late, great gaming journalist Joyce Worley, our main topic has us discuss with Ash Paulsen about his involvement with GameXplain, UDON Entertainment, and whether or not he considered following his dad Rob Paulsen's footsteps in the world of voiceover. What's the next gaming art book on his plate? You'll have to listen to find out!

Along with that, we also have a couple of interviews David recorded at Walker Stalker Con in Boston. Gasp in horror with the voice of Clementine from The Walking Dead, Melissa Hutchison! Tremble in fear over the imposing Kane "Don't Call Him Hodor" Hodder AKA Friday the 13th's Jason Vorhees! The show closes on Nintendo's recently revealed Play With Power book and their official backing of it. How does it match up against the NES Visual Compendium? Is this a case of apples and oranges? Let us know!

The Stage of History this week has some stellar old school titles joining the fold including Samus Aran's debut in Metroid, the 25 year old beat em up classic Streets of Rage, and the worm-whippingly good time that is Earthworm Jim! As always, we also have game giveaways with Lovely Planet Arcade and Super Fight (Robert's last code, so don't miss it!).
